History and Mission
Delta Psi Sigma Sorority was first established in New York City in 2001. The founding sisters, Ms. Danna Chang, Ms. Kate Chen, Ms. Melissa D’Souza, Ms. Annie Park and Ms. Michelle Tang envisioned a sisterhood that would bring together women from various backgrounds and schools. The mission of Delta Psi Sigma is to foster a supportive network to encourage sisterhood, academic achievement, cultural diversity and community service beyond our college careers.
Boston Colony was founded by four women who shared a similar desire to create an intercollegiate multicultural sorority in our local community. Through their dedication and perseverance, Ms. Nancy Le, Ms. Clare Lee, Ms. Jenny Tam, and Ms. Bonita Yip successfully brought Delta Psi Sigma Inc. to Boston, Massachusetts on December 7, 2002. Four years later, Boston attained Associate Chapter status and is now working towards Executive Chapter status.
As we value our growing diversity with the inception of each new sister, we will continually devote ourselves to defying conventional views and contributing to society through service. In addition, we will substantiate a positive influence in the community and expand our Greek network. On behalf of the sisters united in Boston, we strive to uphold the sisterhood of Delta Psi Sigma Sorority, Inc. and to aspire towards excellence beyond boundaries.
